Well then there you have it, whats holding you back? Truely not this forum.
Sounds to me though an Escalade would be right up your alley, major power to pop thoes hills and enough room under those wheel wells to fit 26's if you wish, I personally would go with it rather than a QX56.

You're intention to buy an SUV is to put 22's on them? That defeats the purpose of buying an SUV of that price. But that's entirely up to you. If you really want an SUV to sport 22's, get an Escalade. The LX470 is plenty powerful to make it up those hills in Austin even with a load of people or heavy rims. Hill Country in Texas is nothing to the hills and mountains we have here in CA.

do u think a lx470 on 22 would be good for the steep hills in austin if so i would rather get the lx470

I remember that the lexus always has been a reliable car so i always want a lexus over any other car in a heart beat also how about a supercharged lx470

If it's power you're looking for, you should look into the GX470. 270hp V8. Same V8 as the LX but w/VVT-i giving it the extra 35 HP. You should go test drive both of them.

I looked at a QX56, sticker was 52k, loaded but no rear entertainment, they where willing to go as low as 44k
