Default Japanese Measurement Translation Needed

I usually use alta-vista.com to translate Japanese into English, but in this case, its a photo and I can't copy and paste.

In the photo below, it states the measurements.. that are 210? x 109?. I'm not sure what unit they are using.. it looks like an "o" with a slash through it. So if someone knows, can you tell me approx. how much that is in cm?

Thanks. (I'm looking to buy a new exhaust and these are the muffler dimensions.)

As far as I know, there are only two types of measurements. I don't think there's another system of measurements. Someone please correct me if I am wrong.

I am almost certain that the numbers 210 and 109 represent centimeters.

For your convenience, an inch equals to roughly 2.5 centimeters.

PM replied.

I initially thought the numbers in the picture were the measurements for the box that contains the exhaust.

If these numbers describe the tip size of the exhaust, then they should be in millimeters.

I'll call my friends who are literate in Japanese and confirm this with you tomorrow.

An o with a slash thru it usually designates diameter.

diameter - overmuffler?

210mm by 109mm (inlet outlet or slip fit designation for exhaust)

My associate is saying 109 is inlet connection to pipe and 210mm is outlet diameter. The rest of that text denotes OEM equipment legal for road use in Japan.

That's what Nobu says. You can thank him. An me, I guess, for bothering him.

I made some calls and the answers are exactly the same as the ones provided above.

Good luck,

Jon
