yea here is a website to help you compare the rc-51 to other bikes. it is quite useful and helped me make my decision on which bike to get when i was looking. oh by the way make sure to compare the rc-51 vs the zx-10r and youll see just how much better rated the kawi is over the rc51. only plus to the rc51 is that it is a vtwin if your into that type of thing. personally im not but to each his own. good luck http://www.bikez.com/bike/rating.php?idbike=21529

Best invest in a battery tender eh?

Do you have any leads on a RC yet? Just wondering. Because all I can think of when I see or hear an RC is Nicky Hayden. That kid is a phenom. well, he's 24 now but you get the idea.

Also, what is the cost of a full Akro. system?

Cheers

Josh
Josh,

There are 2 at Honda of Tulsa but I doubt I will buy there. They inflate their prices waaay too much. I like the Hayden edition - apart from the gay-*** cartoon thing on the front I don't particularly care for the stickers on the Nicky edition at all so I will prob stay away from that!

Akro runs about $1000 I think - but then you need a power commander and it mapped so I am guesing about $1400 - unless I can find one with it already on

Peace,
Jonny

Sportsbike for $8K that no one else has? I'd go w/ Suzuki SV650/SV650s or SV1000S. but i'm biased towards those bikes, hehe.

Those are cool bikes but just not my taste. I like a fully-faired bike - not much of a naked guy!!

Josh,

Def. not knocking the SV - I think it is the best track bike out there - especially for Hallett.

Yeah, BCS always has good deals on bikes - but I doubt I will be able to afford a new one. Do they sell used?

Peace,
Jonny

Default something rare huh?

While I would normally say Ducati is the way to go - I sat on a few at the motorcycle show and couldn't get comfortable on them (except the Monsters). But you say you are not really a naked bike kind of guy...I too will recommend an Italian, but one not often mentioned in the mainstream motorcycle world. MOTO GUZZI....I have included a link to a V11 Ballabio (naked, but picture it in LeMans trim - full fairing) I am partial to these bikes as I have a 79 LeMans MkII sitting in my garage waiting to be un-winterized.

You can also go with the SV1000 as someone mentioned earlier and get it in full fairing trim as well. The V-Twin makes it sound nice too!
