using your dad's surgery for an excuse will probably not fly with the judge as an excuse.
Being brain dead is not a reason to get into the car and drive.
I'm also with the opinion that traffic school is your best option unless you for some reason can't do that, then lawyer is option two.
i dont really want use my dads surgery as an excuse, he has nothing to do with me cutting the lane, i just put that in there because, if i had gotten more sleep, i would probably not hit the snooze button on my clock, and would be on time getting out of the house. and eventually wouldnt have to cut the lines, but thats neither here nore there.
i know no matter what im going to pay the fine, but the judge can make a decision whether or not i can go to traffic school, and if i get a point on my record.
How does a lawyer get someone off a "driving in the wrong lane" ticket? I know with speeding tickets you can question the accuracy of the radar/laser. How do you prove that the police officer incorrectly identified a 4000 lb car in between two bright white lines?
some lawyer they know the judge and the police department well. when the lawyer and the cop see the lawyer, they will go easy, saying that the cop forgot something, or the judge get easy on the guy....
yup, corrupted system, and i know cases like that before
