*sigh* I do believe the S8 weighs more than the S-Klasse. Anyway, you guys need to pick a point and stick with it. How much fun can a 5000lb. car be to drive? The AMG models already take care of straight-line speed, so this makes an RS8 redundant because despite it being fast (again, an area that AMG already covers) it won't handle as well or be as fun to drive as smaller/lighter cars, or even an AMG model. Jeez, when was the last time I criticised AMG?

umm, the way i see it though, have you seen track records for the s8 vs amg s class? i mean, you could be right about the weight of the s8 (i don't know the weight) killing the car, but without real numbers who can tell.

it's just like saying fwd can't be as good as rwd cars in general, but the integra type r beats the hell out of a lot of bmw e36 m3
