You can allready buy a crazy TT 997 from RUF.
I'd take that over the factory model any day of the week (price not beeing an object).

I'd call it a Carrera GT coupe

It's an obvious PS.

I'm pretty sure the 997tt is going to have the same 993-ish headlights that the Carrera has now. That, however, does look majorly bada**. I concur about the GT headlights too.

Those look like AVUS wheels- certainly the OE wheels will be one-piece, not modular.
Looks pretty neat, though. The Widebody rear fenders remind me of the TechArt 996 widebody kit.

I'd love the car if it came with those GT headlights. I think Porsche needs to differentiate the turbo from the C2/4 models more.

I've been picking up on rumors that the new 997tt will be heavily based upon the GT from the headlamps to the double-clutch mechanism (wth is this?!? Can anyone educate me on this?). If this PS is even remotely close to the real thing, I'm off for a deposit on a TT-S!

Yea know...I seem to be a little concerned about what the folks over in Germany are doing. With Porsche no longer aggressively racing in F1/CART/GT/etc. but rather focusing on churning out controversial cars like the Pepper, Boxster and the Phaeton (sp?) derivative that bombed for VW, I think they have "Jumped the Shark".

I have been reading about all their latest offerings and future offerings (with a grain of salt), and it seems like headquarters had a changing of the guard to no longer really focus on the things that made Porsche such an icon. I hope the rumors that are spreading are really that because I think it would be an abomoniation to put a V8 N/A engine into the front of a 911 body. I would compare that to Lexus deciding to ship its assembly and manuf. process to the extremely sophisticated countries of either Nigeria or Zimbabwe.

The 911 body and concept has served Porsche well, but how many tweaks can you make to a system before you find yourself going in circles?!?

I think I'm in a mood this morning.
