Are you SURE you think this package is worth what it costs? The UL (Ultra-luxury) package alone costs over $11,000....and this on top of a car that is pretty expensive to begin with.

at a good time, you can get the ls430 UL fully loaded with everything for about 64k + fees, imho that's a killer deal.

yes it's 11k extra from the absolutely BASE model, but imho it's well worth it, all the stuff are there for a reason

if anything, the ONLY thing i don't really care much is the air suspension

I have to agree with Henry here if you are getting the LS you have to get the UL Pkg it is truly what makes the LS an LS.. In three years if all goes well I would like to pickup a nice used '04 LS UL Pkg. By that time the new LS will be out and there should be a nice Flint Mica coming in from lease.

ah man, we are even having the same plans going on now hehehe though i am looking for a black on black

but then i am very curious what the next LS will be like too. seeing how incredible the new GS is on the interior, i can only imagine about the next LS

If the next LS follows the trend of the recent luxury car redesigns, then look for a little more brushed aluminum or metallic trim inside, a little firmer or maybe an adjustable electronic suspension like the Cadillac Road-Sensing or Magnetic Ride systems, more torque at lower RPM's, more sophisticated airbags, more gears in the automatic, an automanual sport-shift, and probably an All-Wheel-Drive option.

I'd bet the monthly rent that you will see a least some if not all of those changes.

Wouldn't you want them to offer a UL with sports suspension ?

Yes I agree the UL is the ultimate Lexus LS to have for a family. If depreciation is a concern, then a used one is usually a better deal than the lower equipped cars.

well i can never stand stock height, so i will need to lower the car anyway, and handling is always the department i pay attention to. given that, i think sport suspension would be nice

Just get a LS UL Pkg and get the Data Systems air ride controller and you have the best of all worlds.

very true, i will definitely get the look i want in seconds, though i have always wondered about the handling, since that's still the stock setup and you are actually messing with it. some people got it for their ls430, maybe we will hear back soon

From what I read it allows you to firm up the ride since the controller acts like the EDFC.. Unfortunately the guys that have this are keeping quite right now.. Time will tell I suppose..
