What chassis is this riding on? Same V8 setup as the "new" FWD Monte Carlo and Impala?

 

Name sucks regardless. "Lucerne" is Safeway's private, in house brand name - I grew up drinking Lucerne milk, for instance, and that impression just sticks.

 

LMAO! There has been a HUGE debate within Buick, the Lesabre name is one of the most loved and known in the industry and they did not want to rename this vehicle. But since its supposed to be a "new" kind of Buick, it needed a new name.

 

I've always been intrigued by Buick's model names.

I do like the changes that Buick has been contributing to its models. To me, anything it makes nowadays looks better than a 1992 Skylark.
