It's an awesome car, but I've heard some owners have major issues with its clutch engagement ,& that it's too low to be driven on regular roads at all, so it's entirely impractical except on tracks. I've read about a new owner already wanting to sell it after only a couple weeks of ownership because of the disappointment with the above issues, which he did not have with the other dozen or so exotic cars he has owned/driven, including the Enzo.(that article is in Robb Report I think)

nice find lexusluver...but you sure its not a modified 996? the front headlights, non-aero mirros along with the exhaust look like a 996 modified.

test-mules are usually clad with body pieces of different cars... that way the car being tested isn't so easily given away. I like the wheels on that car...

I wonder if the clutch engagement has anything to do with their all-new ceramic clutch plate that is only with the GT (for now).

That picture posted of the possible turbo..well if you take a closer look at the new Boxster coupe; it has the same profile lines but with a whale fin to it. I think that picture is just a possible Boxster turbo.. I don't have a clue what this is going to say about the new Turbo S.

Actually, if you guys could truly afford a supercar; wht would it be? I'm rehashing this question because I started to think about it, and most of these cars are VERY HIGH maintenance vehicles. So, I would think you would want authorized shops to work on them, but in many places such as where I live, those shops don't exist. I don't even think we can get Aston Martin's latest creations here in Texas w/out having to go out of state. So that leaves me to believe that the Porsches make a pretty much daily driver / track car that can be easily taken care of. What say you?
