3UZ-FE in JGTC??

3UZ-FE in JGTC??
Since when did the Supras in the JGTC GT500 start using V8s??? I thought that they used the 2JZ or the 3S-GTE???

that's the same motor as my gs430, right? why doesn't some of that hi performance technology trickle down to the GS/LS?

I think the base of the engines is trhe same, but for the racing they do it must be pretty moddified, making it a much more expensive engine.
