Well, one thing we can say for this SUV that we can't say for a LOT of others....this at least will be a Subaru-only platform. It does not appear to be sharing a chassis or a rebadging with any other SUV...st least here in the American market. Whoever buys this vehicle will certainly get a unique set of wheels.
3UZ-FEEEE
Looks like a nightmare an FX would have about how it would look like if it didnt eat well and exercise.
Thanks, Mike.
The basic interior and dash shape seems to be taken from the old Toyota Previa...remember that one, and how the center of the dash curved out like this?
I agree with you the interior is handsome...I'm not sure I'd call it gorgeous. It is well-laid out (MUCH better than the Nissan Quest), but I personally would like a little more wood paneling and a little less aluminum trim, but that's just my tastes. Not everyone will agree. The web site doen't seem to indicate whether it has a choice of alunimum or wood like on the Legacy / Outback.
Did you get to the Detroit Show like Incendiary to see it up front? I didn't...and they didn't have it at the D. C. Show. It will probably be a nearby Baltimore Show this week, but I might just wait and look at it at the dealership.
