It might be due to the fiberglass construction. Body gaps on Vettes aren't the best quality due to the lighter material. Also, that picture shows the front fenders, which are carbon fiber. I've heard paint onto carbon can be of a lesser quality.

I think it looks gorgeous. Great bang for your buck after they work out the kinks....which might take some time.

Ok.. fine then. I also think the horn plastic is cheap. Looks like fake CF on under the corvette logo on the steering wheel. Interior color is ugly IMO, the dark beige and the dark gray don't look good together. Exterior looks fine.
