We should track some BUSES!! That would be some Jackie Chan ish!
Some people do take busses on the track . It's pretty scarry when you are going around at speed and all of a sudden there is a big bus with tourists on the track.

Hey.

Cool thread.

I'm over in UK here (London) for a bit...3-4 months.

Any ideas on how to drive this puppy?

Can I just rent a car and show up? Do they have any cars to rent? Insurance issues on rental?

Cheers.

Yes. They have days where the track is open to the public and you can drive on it for a small fell. So you can just rent a car and show up. TAKE PICS!! Not sure if they have a rental agency there.

The track is open to the public a lot of days, most weekends.
I don't think the rental agency will like it if you take their car on the track, maybe it will cause you to loose the insurance if anything bad happens.

Remember, this is not your average track, it will take you a lot of laps (think maybe 100) to get kind of used to it. A lot of people crash on the track and a couple even die every year.
Also, on the public days there are both cars (even busses) and bikes on the track, you really need to have eyes in the back of your head.

In an effort to get more people to sign up for a Nürburgring tour I suppose?
