Nowadays, heel-toe is really big toe-little toe.

Nah, heel toe is a dance move that was over popular 2-3 years ago.

Yeah, I could easily do that, but im in no rush at all. I can live driving a manual without using the heel toe.

If you think a TT is bad.................try screwing up with an older 911.

I'm with you aerostar. I've tried the other way, but I simply couldn't do it. We're backwards, but hey, it works for us. Luckily I don't have to do this in my SC, but my old Porsche barely has any synchros at all anymore.

Love the drawing by the way... I'm tempted to print it out and hang it up or somethin'

Haha, see theres nothing wrong with our way, its just how we roll. I actually tried doing it the "right way ( )" today, and I seriously couldnt twist my foot far enough in time and I missed the turn . The only way I could get foot that way would be to move the steering wheel all the way and then squeeze my legs into place...way too much work.

And about videotaping me do it...I wish I had a digital video camera!! I could take a pic, but thats about it. Hell, maybe Ill just draw another picture

i've got the right half of my foot on the gas and the left foot hovering over the brake. WHen i slow down, i tilt my foot towards the brake and apply pressure while letting off the gas.

That means one of 2 things:
1) You have big socks.

Come on, do another, it was good really

Tried both ways. I now find myself doing it where ever I go even to Taco Bell. The SC is much harder than my old car, but it had a Light Weight FW. I tend to brake with my heel and throttle with my toes (size 10) I can do it fine for normal driving but on a track it really hurts my concentration and I find myself missing breaking points and other silly mistakes like that.

I just need more practice at high speeds I guess.
