Is the Toyota Mark X the Next IS?
I found this by accident tonight, but could the Toyota Mark X be the next IS or an idea of what's to come?

This looks very close to the new GS. Particularly the overall styling and the seat contours.

The front end looks like it could be, but in the Japanese magazines weren't they stating that the current Altezza is the 'new' Trueno??? (following it's footsteps)?
The Mark X states that it's FF.

OH OH OH, its beautiful. I really hope so. But for some reason, I think it wont be. The rear is just a little too round, to be the next IS. The IS is based off of the Altezza not the Mark X(IS this a totally different line, I thought there was like a Mark something else). And I think that the Lexus models are to be sold in Japan next year(i might be wrong). So this car would not have Toyota badges. But the front does look like it can carry the IS badge. Nice find, its wonderful.
Once again, Japan always get the hot cars.

It's Front Engine Rear Drive. This info is straight from the Toyota Japan Corporate website.

I still don't think it's gonna be the next IS, small chance but I dunno... I think Toyota would keep the Altezza as the IS (as they've done with the other cars in their line-up).
