The product is made by http://phantomplate.com and cost me $30. It is used to block when a photo enforcement device snaps a picture of your license plate by over exposing the film. I decided to test it for myself.


I followed the directions on the can and SOAKED my plate with the spray. Let is sit and repeated 3 more times until it was super glossy.

After it dried, I decided to take some shots using the flash of my digital camera to see if it really works.

Here are the results, 1 during the day, 1 at night head on, and 1 at night at an angle. Half of my plate has been edited out in Photoshop for security reasons, that is NOT the spray doing that LOL.

So once and for all, this stuff doesn't work, and the guy on here that posted it has some type of crystals in it, IT DOES NOT, total scam. I will email this thread to PhantomPlate and they can comment on it or refund my money, or do something, otherwise I am starting to post it on all the automotive forums I am on (and I'm on over 30).
