What is it with these cars modified beyond extreme, still sporting stock rims? Damn near everything is custom there accept for rims, which are probably the most notable aspect on a car.

Some people have too much time and $$$ in their hands. And I still don't get this obsession with putting screens everywhere.

 

fishman did the custom work, i have the car audio mag in which they worked on it, not my taste, but it would prob win a show or two.

 

I must say, the stock wheels look nice too...! LOL....???

 

Yea, that was a fishman install. He is known for doing ridiculously insane installs. he also puts a operational fishtank in every car he does. While I can't stand the way the Vette looks now, I do have to admit that fishman can do some WILD stuff! While the owner likes to call this mutant a show car (I myself would call it a freakshow attraction), I am sure he is kicking himself is the a$$ now after spending $150k on the work only to sell the car for $30k, which is not much more than the stock version would have gotten with NO mods!!!!! Serves him right!!

So how much is he expecting to get out this sale? I wonder if anyone who buys this overdone car for about $40k can make some money by parting the car out and resell the car stock ?

 

Look at the auction post. The car sold for $30,100. Kelley Blue Book online shows retail for 2000 Vette in Excellent condition and 53k miles as $29,100.00. Private party sale for same condition and miles is $25,100.00. No one is making any money from this deal other than fishman on the install! The new buyer only has a hunk of overweight garbage that will fit right in with the sideways cap wearin', "I got a fart pipe exhaust & Stickers on my car" set!
