Is Lexus losing VIP status?
Who cares if it is or isn't losing some useless "VIP" status among the general public who the majority are idiots?
Anyone who buys the cars based on their supposed "status" is a moron and doesn't deserve to own a Lexus.
It makes me laugh that human beings actually buy **** simply because of some useless image or status symbol they are trying to project. Grow the ***** up.

Really, I have no idea what the point of this thread is...
How do you measure "VIP Status," exactly???????
Lexus sales numbers are up, there are exciting new designs on the horizon, and the company is staying true to its mission of building the highest-quality luxury cars.
I don't think they're "losing" anything at all.....????????????????????????????????????

Sure, the Maybach and some AMG and M models may have more buzz, but the reality is that few people can afford them and even fewer own them. It's not a valid concern, because the industry does not live off the $100K+ market...They need halo cars to get people into dealerships, but halo cars don't pay bills. If the $100K segment disappeared tomorrow, some high-end makes would go out of business, but Lexus wouldn't be one of them.

Hmm, I think I'll have to disagree with you. It's really not a valid question, because like I said, there is nothing to indicate that Lexus is becoming less desirable to own. Quite the opposite.

Seems that reading comprehension skills are losing their status to the general public also!

Very true in saying that the 100K market cars are less affordable and few are owned, but that doesn't mean that they aren't publacized more often than a more affordable and, in many cases, a much nicer 40-60K car.
If you read carefully, i was stating that this is all you see and you see a lot less often the 40-60K cars, which should seem more appealing to the people who can afford them.

Are you serious?? Since when did sales figures become "subject opionion" (sic)?? Have you seen the latest numbers? I think they quite clearly indicate that Lexus is a desireable brand.

see the difference. either way there is no way you can make it an absolute point. i agree that lexus is doing very well and of course they are very diserable to me (otherwise i would be retarded to own two lexus myself). but still that doesn't mean the rest of the world has to think the same
