Navigation Computer Information System Plus Internet Connection
How about the idea of adding internet to the Lexus onboard Nav systems. Here's some of the applications I could think of.
[list=1][*]Real Time Traffic shows up on Nav Screen re-routing you accordingly[*]Real Time Traffic Lights appear on Nav System re-routing you accordingly.[*]Real Time Weather helps you prepare for nasty weather.[*]Link to other vehicles (buddies) to see their location on the Nav Map.[*]Streaming Audio Players (One day this will be practical)[*]Streaming Internet Ticker[*]Email[*]Web Browsing (Above three controlled by voice activation, read by simulated voice)[/list=1]
Just ideas. I believe all of the technology exists, software developers just need to get in gear to begin releasing these items into cars.
