seems like the Supra still has some tricks left....very impressive for a dead Toyota.
]Thanks guys. Jason, Larry said you weren't answering your phone and that you were tuning Dana's car. I didn't want to bother you with such a minor detail like an 8.67, especially knowing that we can run 10-12 more psi.
. I guess the few things I want to say is the greatest of thanks to Max at SP, Larry of Course, Jerry Vodden for building a motor I coudn't blow up after 2200 miles and hundreds of 42+ psi 1100+rwhp highway blasts, and Jason S. who always answers the phone to help, even with kids crying in the background!!. A few words about the car. I look at it parked in front of my house with the stock chrome wheels and top off and I can't believe it myself. I keep making full throttle blasts every chance I get to re-affirm that I am indeed driving to a restaurant or night club with a 1300 HP car. The car feels abosolutely sick on a public road and is deifinatley a handful, even when sober:eek: . To give you an example, my buddy has a 9 sec Hyabusa. We're cruising side by side on the highway, we both stab it, he pulls 3-4 lengths till I build boost, then I fly by him in look at him disappear in the mirror, like he was not even on the throttle. It is truly sick. On the 8.67 pass the nos was on the whole way, but the boost was at 35 psi. It is about the same power or maybe less than running the 43-44 psi I usually run on boost. Jason's advice was to start spraying it at lower boost, make sure things are happy and start raising the boost. After yesterday, I know for a fact that the car will run 170 mph or more, as I have accidentally sprayed it at 44 psi (oops, wasn't supposed to tell anyone) and it did feel a LOT stronger than it did last night. I don't think I will turn it up untill this ET gets beat by Dana, then I might have to lean on it

But we ran 8.93 and 156 mph over a year ago in a street driven GTS. This same car is getting AEM soon, so if you are going to shoot for a number you might want to target 8.40's @ 160+ mph.

Markos car is fast, I'm anxious to see what else it's got left in it. Running 40+ lbs + Nitrious might kill the motor quick but we'll see.The HKS stroker kit probably wouldn't help the 1/4 mile times as much because of the fact with that turbo reving until 9k RPM is needed to keep it in the power band. Might be able to get away with 3.2L but at this point your pushing the motor so much it's tough to say.
