I had to just drop a line about my incredible Sunday. I always wanted to drive an exotic sports car at least once and had the opportunity this weekend. I was given the keys to a Ferrarri 360 Modena and had about 2 hours to try her out. All I can say is I wish I had some spare change (about 200K). The acceleration is incredible and I think that my body imprint is still on the seat. The car sticks to the road on rails, but only if you don't push the pedal too hard in the twisties as I soon found out. (I almost drifted across almost 2 lanes when I floored it in second while going 25. The car gets up to its 8500 redline (at least that is where I was shifting) damn'd quick. The gated shiftgate is precise. The owner put in a new clutch and supposedly a lighter flywheel. I was not brave enough nor crazy enough to try to hit top speed but I did get to 110 at the top of 3rd gear. Well I just wanted to share part of my Sunday with you.

I saw one of those about a month back here in Chapel Hill. It was a really dark blue and fairly dirty...I guess it was a daily, which made me wonder what they're weekend car was!

 

well maybe his daily driver bmw is at the dealership again? coz' of the v12 problem?

$200K? You can get a 360 Stradale for $200K.
If you don't mind a 2000 F360, you can get one for as little as about $95K.
