Why?.....to stretch the fuel mileage and cut down on the number of pit stops? The heavy battery packs, depending on where they are placed, could add a significant amount of weight to the car and maybe affect the handling....not to mention the lack of space in these extremely small-bodied cars to begin with.
If they can overcome these problems....fine.....but it looks like an uphill battle to me.

many times those cars have weight plates attached to the cars to meet the weight requirements.
I think this battery things can work.... of course it will take time but soon the all fuel motor will look like a thing of the past.
