last week while eating some Costco dogs for lunch, i ran into a del slow with is300 altezza tail lights, i laughed, and then i showed my friend and he laughed, we all had a gay ol' time and ate costco dogs and chicken bake.

at least we now know how Supras and Skylines feel.

This is a far too popular trend. There are cars like this at almost all the car shows I have been to lately

I WISH we had 2 or 3 years. I've seen enough ricey GS's here to shut up anyone who thinks tasteless mods are a Honda-only phenomenon. That is the one and only drawback to Lexus keeping the bodystyle the same for so many years...

Browsing import sites, I have seen this a lot lately : Car owners buying GS parts off of eBay and molding them to fit their cars. I've even seen a GM truck with GS headlights. I don't know if I should be flattered or insulted!

It's kind of like the 80's when you would see a Nissan Minitruck with Mercedes emblems < there's a word for it but it's racially offensive>. What do you guys think?

Frankly, I think there is too much of this so-called "racially offensive" stuff...we do have freedom of speech. I happen to be a straight white male, but but just to show you I'm not a hypocrite, if someone wants to tell me that I drive a "cracker" or "honky" or a "girlie" or a "feminine" machine,......hey, I couldn't care less. I wouldn't be offended in the least. I drive what I want to...period. Others can either make fun of it or accept it for what it is....that is just simple freedom of speech.

Lightbulb Tact.

Having said that, though, I'm generally pretty careful what I say to others...I know some people DO get offended.

I believe in freedom of speech too, but I also believe in NOT being a racist @sshole. The term I was referring to is "Wabby". It's a term that uses Mexican as a negative adjective (comes from the term "w*t back" -as if there was a river seperating TJ from San Diego). And I WOULD be offended if someone said, "Hey, you drive a nigg*r car". Someone even told me I hook my car up "like an Asian". I responded with, "...because I choose high quality parts and not swap-meet glue-ons?"

I make a concious effort not to be make comments that I "THINK" might offend someone.

Now let's get back on topic.

I was reading this months Top Gear, and they reviewed the Mini Cooper Convertible and called it "a car for metrosexuals". The article began with desrcibing with a "metrosexual" might be. I was surprised. They got stereotypes for whatever a person drives.
