JM Lexus is tops
Interesting story #2.
Saturday morning I took my car to the dealership because the a/c was not cold enough. I could see where there was a leak from one of the hoses. I'm thinking they change the hose, no big deal, no big cost. An hour later the service rep tells me a computer needs to be changed and there are several leaks. Over $3000 worth of repair not counting parts. I'm sitting there thinking...what do I do, have them inject freon and sell it asap. Pay the repair and forget about my new wheels because a/c is more important. Maybe just do nothing and go home to weigh my options. Then the guy tells me it's going to be free of charge to repair. I sit there with my mouth open. I'm thinking...what's wrong here, this is a 9 yr old car. There's no warranty left. I asked why it was free. He said the manager agreed that I'm a good customer...everyone knows about my car and how I take care of it. Since the car has only 50k miles on it, it's a warranty repair. I say, are you sure? He said yes. Another customer heard all of this and was dumbfounded also. The customer asked if I knew why they were doing this. I made up something but really didn't know. They gave me a loaner and I left...thanking God all the way home.
On the way home I remembered I have complained about the a/c 3 times over the last 3 years. They work on it and it's cold. They probably knew a computer was bad and hoped I wouldn't have anymore problems.
Still, they could have fought me on this but they didn't. I still think they are the greatest. I paid $24,000 for this car 3 years ago. I thought that was too high. Turns out to be one of the best decisions I've ever made. They have done a lot for me over the years I can't even list everything.

JM Lexus is #1in the world in (Lexus) Sales and is the best Franchise Dealership period, IMO. I have a lot of friends over there and have done business with them before. The Pre-owned vehicles, staff, body shop, mechanics are second to none.. its really an amazing place. Jim Morans'(JM) story is pretty interesting as well.
