Default Would you feel bad about...

Buying and RS6 for a daily and using it in all weather conditions?

I am trying to decide how I would feel about that. On the one hand I feel like hey, it is AWD, that is the reason I am buying something AWD. On the other hand I feel like hey, they importing less than 1000 of these, why the hell are you driving an $80k car in the snow.

What do you guys think?

Ethan, the car is meant to be driven.
It is one beast of a car.
You don't pay 80k to just let it gather dust, right?

car is meant for driven, if you don't drive it then don't buy it imho. salt is one thing, but if you like it so much, you should drive it and clean it often. and it's ONLY a 80k cars, there are tons of people drivng more expensive cars every day

Or you could drive your $80K range rover. Or your $70K LX470. Or your ...

Drive it. Enjoy it. Wash it often. Just remind me not to purchase the rusted carcass in 5 years.

Go for it. Just make sure you get a good undercoating and factory rust protection. Wash the car after every snowfall when the road is dry!

LOL, Ethan, just clean it a little more often.
You could always use the winter time to send it to Sound Performance for some mods

I'm with the majority here, get it, drive it, and most of all, don't regret it! A car like that is meant to be driven, and with Audi's AWD system, snowy roads are no exception. Go for it!

I saw a couple 911 Carrera 4S coupes in moderately deep snow last year. That's an 80k+ car.

Well, it all comes down to me passing my exam on the 19th. If I pass I can do something in that price range right now, but if not I have to wait until I can take it again in December.

Hopefully I pass!
