wow... 2900 pounds. i thought it would be lighter. the 2.4l 160 horsepower and 163 pound-feet of torque sounds so similar to the ka24 in a 240sx.

Thumbs up Finally

As I've stated on other threads, this, in my opinion, is the car that SHOULD have replaced the old 1995-99 Celica instead of the present Celica Hot Wheels look-alike. This car has more sensible styling, more room inside, and apparantly better-quality materials. And it has a less-peaky engine than the Celica's 180 HP four, which has no torque at all below about 5000 or so, then all comes on with a rush. And, best of all, Scion has the Saturn-style no-dicker list price...which means that dealers cannot price-gouge on any car without dealer-added extras.
