I'd go with the 6MT: You can get brembo's with the manual and for future upgrades, if one is so inclided, you will have more choices for a twin turbo setup. You can put a TT on an auto, but (for now at least) they are being designed for the VQ with 6MT.
Oh, and it's more fun rowing through the gears - if you like that kinda thing

Oh and the manual would get my vote.
i was only replying to LonelyToothbrush cuz he stated that the trunk space for the g35 was small...................................................................................
never said anything about buying a car for its trunkspace.
Pretty much the stock answer here....the more you have to deal with stop-and-go traffic, rush-hour jams, and urbanized areas, the more you will want an automatic, or at least an clutchless automanual. I could not imagine driving in the Los Angeles, New York, or D.C. Metro areas with a stick.
If it's a daily driver - Auto...if not - 6MT all the way!
It's just too hard dealing with stop and go traffic in LA on a day-to-day basis (and you would rarely get out of 2nd gear anyways)...not to mention all the hills in my area...it would be a drag on a daily basis...

yea, every morning I drive 23 miles to work which takes me at least 90 minutes for the drive and 19 out of the 23 miles are FWY miles.........manual will kill my legs every morning

I agree with you 100%! It takes me 5 miles to get to school on a crowded street..
