Let's get some input here.....what are you guys / gals paying for gas where you live? ( I guess many of you own Lexus products and are using 93 Octane ). We're still probably lucky compared to Europe and Japan ($4-7 a gallon), but gas prices still are awful compared to six months to a year ago.
Here in the DC area major-brand 87 right now generally runs from $1.80 to $1.95 and 93 is $2.00 to $2.15....but some stations have price wars on weekends and drop about 10 cents or so.
Wouldn't be surprised to see CA prices the highest due to CARB's requirements.
Holds steady at $1.95 a gallon for 93 octane. Its still crazy tho...
Last week in ingleside me and my g/f realized i had about 1/10 of a tank left... I had to get gas, not gonna risk running out. And I paid the highest price ever for a gallon: 2.15. I bought $5 worth, and the thing pumped for about 4-5 seconds before it had done 5 bucks worth.
Gas prices really do iritate me.. I seriously cant understand the world. 4 years ago i remember filling up my celebrity for 99 cents a gallon.
Even us in GA are hit. $2.00 for premium now. $2.00. I remember it was under 99 cents a few years ago. Good thing income has increased. But hybrids are on my mind, ESPECIALLY if Lexus makes them.
The rise in gas is killing Americans. Less disposable income. It's making the cost of everything rise. We are truly too dependant on oil.
I've been getting "Plus" aka in between "Supreme" and "Regular" at Chevron over here in So Cal. I paid $2.27/gallon for "Plus." I think it's like $2.35/gallon or more for "Supreme."
