First time seeing one and has some intersting impressions of it. We were stopped next to eachother at a light and it had the window sticker residue still on the window so it was brand new. First off, it DOES look better in person, however the back and faux-spoiler really kill it. It sounds mean as hell though with a nice rumble. Anyone else seen one yet? Impressions?

i have seen 2 in tampa, fl within the past 2 weeks. the side and back look super, but the front just doesnt suit the rest of the car....

oh my friend and i were arguin what the convertable 6 series competes with , the clk500 convertable, or the sl500?

i'm pretty sure it competes with the CLK, well since that's what every car magazine that i subscribes to compares the 6 with and it just seems fit for it to compete because of the size.


yea i saw a convertible 6 the other day, it looked pretty good but with some moddin, it'll look hotter.

 

the front is ok but the rear is terrible

 

I saw one in the Vancouver Auto Show, I thought it looks worse in person. I'd still pick it (with the 6MT)over the CLK though, which I thought is disappointing with the redesign.

 

Saw on down by the beach while jogging, looks alright, i'd drive one.

 

Saw one in copper color two days ago in Las Vegas.......Ehh....... no good

 

Looks to be pretty split on the decisions. I believe the 6 series is being pit against the CLK but BMW would like to attack the SL. I read a review and they were basically even with the edge going to the 6 series because it was a little more of a driver's car. However they said the huge price wasn't worth it. I'd personally go CLK500 over 645 (Oh wait, we did )

It looks ugly in person and in pics, not 1 thing i like about it..........Its also overpriced, i can get a Porsche 911 for about the same $$$$$$
