The two cars that were notorious for surfers was the 1949 Woody Wagon and the1969 VW mini bus.

hmm...not sure if i really dig the Magnum. looks like it belongs in the fleet of a funeral home.
i know i am a bit bias but i will take my SportCross over the Mangum anyday.
here's the official site for the magnum (you can see the AD on the site)

The Scion xB more or less competes with the Element in looks, but is smaller, front-drive only, not as versatile, and, like the PT Cruiser, is not designed for easy cleaning like the Element.
Keep one thing in mind, though, when you have your car at the beach.....that intensely salt ocean air doesn't do exposed metal parts on the car any good. Try to limit beach exposure as much as possible.

The Holden Sandman....isn't that just an Aussie El Camino with a bed cap?? The front of that is the same as the Monaro, I believe (which is also the GTO)

Interesting car...I've never seen the Sandman before. Looks like it can go head-to-head with our PT Cruiser.
Yes, the Holden Monaro is the basic platform for the new GTO....with Americanized bumpers, safety gear, gauge readings, and emissions.....but the engine is different. The GTO uses a slightly modified 5.7L Corvette LS1 engine..... larger than its Australian engine.
