I read thru 4 pages and gave up.

After a few seconds of letting it all soak in I realized a few things:

1. For a VW that is known for being anti-lexus I was suprized at how hard some of the VW people faught for Lexus.

2. (this one makes me crazy) If you say Lexus is a Toyota with leather you are the biggest ball licker in the entire world. It not only shows there blind brand loyalty it also shows there ignorance. Lexus has had 15 years to get to where they are and they deserve the respect they don't get.

3. People are so quick to support a car they can never afford and defend it over a car they've never sit in all because of brand loyality. "But hey everyone, VW has the highest number of repeat buyers" That may be so, but lexus still makes a much better car, ****ing hippies.

I don't think Lexus is a better car, I know Lexus is a better car because I can put 2 & 2 (and 2 and 2) together.

I've got alot of life in front of me and I have a feeling more then once i'll be holding a wheel that dosn't have a L on it, but I still know lexus makes they best cars on the road.

 

if someone drives a VW how can you respect their automotive opinions? Just some clowns who think their over-priced unreliable cars are in the same league as BMW, MB, and Porsche.

the MkI MR2, MKII MR2, MKIII and MKIV Supra, Celica GTS, Celica All-Trac, and I'm sure there are others.
A single on of these are VASTLY superior to anything VW has made or will ever make. Toyota has a VASTLY greater racing history than VW will ever have.

Image over substance that is really what a VW comes down to.
