Guys, while having a blast driving around / sight-seeing with my new Ferrari 360 and enjoying cruising in the traffic with my Ducati 996.
I realized I have not been accompanying my Supercharged 540i for sometime now. It is 9:15 PM and I just took my 540i on a couple of highways and I REALLY opened it up.
MAN THIS THING PULLS! Spanking some Civics and WRXs (Yep, how pathetic, but they wanted to play) and finally saw a yellow Z06 who's willing to join the rampage and we had a couple good runs (pretty even from 110 ~ 140, yet smoked good him after 150mph, Z06 dude is as crazy as I). Traffic was mild and it was fun.
Bottom Line: MAN! My 540i can pull. HARD!! YYYYYYYYYYYYYEEEEEEEEEEEE HAAAAAAAAAAAAA!
Bring on the W211 E55!

Jimmy, great to hear. I wish I coulda been in the Z to hear your SC whine as you pulled away at 150! I would love to see you against an 04 E55. I say you get a comparison on and put up some vids!

i tried taking a couple of pictures of me going almost 90mph. dodging traffic + holding steering wheel + worrying about cops + holding camera steady + looking back forth between cam and road + framing the shot right = blurry pictures. it is damn tough!
i can't imagine taking pictures at the speed super jimmy was driving...oh i forgot, none of the cars i have ever owned or own can even touch that speed. i guess i don't have worry about the problem of taking pictures at 150+ mph.
