Default best lexus

This may have been asked before but it was before my time. I like all lexus cars. As human beings living in a capitalist society, we're all conditioned to have tastes. I said that to say I do not wish to slam any lexus. I would like to know how others feel.

Which lexus is the best looking of all? Old or new.

Personally, I like coupes with long sloping hoods, always have. Obviously, that means I think the sc300/400 is the prettiest lex of all time.

I never paid attention to lexus until I saw the first gen gs. It was my favorite sedan until the 97-2000 ls.

What do you guys think?

i think the is3oo did a lot good and bad 4 the car world with those tailights....great little car with some kick...
the GS 1st generation is a divine timeless machine like "D" said that set a standard with lexus imo..
the 2nd gen just set a high bar 4 pure beauty
the sc is just a classic sporty coupe that will 4ever b
the new sc is a modern taste with some class
the ls is just luxuary and power...

hard 2 say which is the best but i'll just stick with the 2nd gen GS as my answer

My personal favourite is the SC400, the SC430 a close second. But the best car overall Lexus ever built is undoubtedly the LS430.

I all boils down to one's opinion...
Compact Luxo..Sport....IS
Economy Luxo...............ES
Luxo..Sport.....................GS
Full Luxo.........................LS

I loved the LS from since ,89. It blew every competition out the way at the time and still is.

Thumbs up

I'm still lovin' the Gen. 1 LS. The Gen. 1 GS is also highly under-rated. The very last SC300/SC400...

There are fewer 1st gen gs's than all other lexus on the roads today....... That's my only reason for being part of this unique crowd. Also the fact that my fav rapper Jay-Z used to own one. hehe

1- First gen GS. I find the proportions to be balanced even though they mucked it up by putting the gas tank behind the rear seat killing trunk space.

2- Second gen LS in particular the 98-00.

3- First gen SC. If I were considering a weekend car, I'd go looking for an SC 300.

Wait... There is a trunk on the 1st gen GS's? Theres like a lid on the back of the car that opens up and inside is a CD changer and a little place to put my gloves, but it only has enough room for 1 glove so I have to michael jackson it the whole winter. I had no idea that was the actual trunk I just thought it was a extra glovebox.

I'd say the 1st gen GS and the Lastest LS, my god do I ever love the new LS
