well this guy... i didn't want to say much about it coz' it's really up to him how to mod his car, but after some posts he started to attack people who said he's not doing a good job on the car, to the point that he said something like "you guys are all tasteless" and "those who JUST put wheels and body kits on the car, you call that mods?" man, it really got to me coz' i respect a lot of friends there, so i guess it's time for me to post it here and you guys judge.

some highlights on what he's doing, THE REAL MODS if you call it:

1) veilside GS spoiler on the acura TL!!!! damn that's so awesome
2) full fender flare foront and back, i can give props to it. although i don't think the front is done perfectly
3) now get this, the car has a staggered wheel setup! 19x8.5 in the front and 19x9.5 in the back!!!! this is hands down one of the most ridiculous mods i have heard about the TL. in case you don't know, the TL is a fwd car. staggered in a fwd car, it must wins

i feel so sad after reading the thread coz' i am so no taste in modding my car i should change my sig

 

Damn Rominl, I guess I'm not spending enough time on the forums, but i wasn't aware you dominated the Acura forums as well. Good job putting that guy in his place.

I don't think I would quote that statement, all forums have members with good and bad taste.. didn't we have NYWIZARD? You wouldn't want people judging CL on his thoughts would you? The particular guy who started that thread seems to have no class, in modding cars or anywhere else..

 

That guy needs to learn to take criticism without calling people names Personally I don't like his mods, but it's not my car.

 

well i wouldn't go that far. every car has their own taste i guess. i got rid of the tl-s coz' of the tranny issue, it's not about i think they have no class. otherwise i wouldn't even stay there. i know people who mod thei tl very nicely

 

Man, that guy ballxnxparlay sounds like he learned to speak with hooked-on-ebonics... Seriously though if you post stuff about your car mods on a public forum, be prepared to have good and bad feedback. That was just childish of him to get defensive and start flaming other peoples cars. As for people in that forum not having class, that was just a few people, every forum has their rotten apples, even ours.
