I'm curious why Toyota dealers don't have more new Sienna inventory. When Sienna hybrid was first introduced a few years ago I'd see a couple on dealer lots but soon after new arrivals have been pretty much pre sold. Is Sienna THAT popular or is it a combination of low production numbers compared to other models like Tundra and Tacoma that are plentiful at dealers around here?

 

number one issue right now is slow production ramp for Rav4, which is behind the schedule.

I totally didn't realize these ever existed, this type of package is appealing IMO. If production numbers weren't insane (160ish) I would love to have one instead of my Jetta as a fun commuter car

This is going to fail so hard when it underperforms a Z06 or GT4 or AMG GT, or M2C, or.....you get the point.

It's not hardcore. It's not leading edge. It's not special to the point that anything even resembling this becomes needed.

 

This personalizing type of selection process combined with ownership bootcamp program might be its pocket ace. This takes elements of Porsche, mixes it with some existing JDM customer experiences of theIr GR products, and adds a sprinkle of what other usdm luxury car models offer as a companions ownership experiences.

Its a good idea in theory for those who want to feel special in their JDM supercar experience. We agree though on the specs matter these days especially whats out there at the 200-300k bracket. With Toyota microinfluencer strategy, I expect alot of back channel agreements to get social media influencers at the top of the list who will run it for clicks, and then ditch ship.

 

Issue is Toyota is not Porsche. So this camp thing is just them playing at being cool
