Default Cadillac Vistiq

There's the huge Escalade iq, the Lyriq, the small optiq and the 3 row vistiq.

very positive review of the vistiq here:

+1.

From the sounds of the review, this is the type of cushy-comfortable vehicle Cadillac should have been building for the last decade or so, instead of BMW Wanna-Bes. This will appeal to many traditional Cadiilac fans who have been put off by the shift to sport-oriented products...and waiting for a return to real Cadilacs.

Cadillac EVs are killing it. The entire product line actually. I absolutely love the IQ Escalade.

Vistiq is a great vehicle, I drove one. Incredibly nice, I do wish it had a frunk. I would seriously consider one.

I also really like the Escalade IQ but they are just so huge.

Pricing is a bit on the steep side, not including the stealership added premiums, but it is a Luxury SUV. I am seeing them on the road so they must have some good leasing options

Pricing is on point when you look at the lease rates.

I was pretty impressed with the Optiq I sat in at the Philly Auto Show a couple weeks back.

I think he probably meant a front trunk (frunk) for additional storage. A lot of EV's have them, but not all of them.

OK, Thanks. I was not familiar with that term....never heard it before.

When I think of front trunk, I think mostly of mid-engined and rear-engined vehicles.

i think tesla coined it, but could be wrong.

anyway, ev’s with no big engine up front or in back, can have both a front AND rear f/t-runk. my tesla model y has both. an ev like the now sadly discontinued ford f-150 lightning, has a GIGANTIC front trunk.

No they didn't, Porsche did.

Haven't driven it, but I agree that the looks are first-rate. It is extremely handsome inside and out....easily Cadillac's best-looking design in years. My only beefs with what I see in the reviews are the somewhat awkward door-handles and the shape of the steering wheel spokes.....but those are small nit-picks, and would not be a deal breaker for me if I was spending that kind of money. However, that kind of money would also buy three Chevy TrailBlazers and almost three Buick Encore GXs....which, although not a Vistiq by any means, are both good small crossovers in their own right.

Consumer Reports also has a very high opinion of it, except for the design of some of the screens/controls, and the fact that the lower-profile-than-necessary tires impact the ride quality a little, even with air suspension.

For the modern era, Tesla coined it and made it popular. It was informally used among VW and Porsche owners

AI says EVs with no frunk are cheaper.

and this is what Grok says
