I'm just surprised the Leaf is way down there as it's one of the first EV'S on the market

might be the dumbest list i’ve ever seen.

i3 is the most reliable?

look at the “methodology”:

we based this article on long-term ownership data from platforms such as Reddit, documented recall histories, and the What Car? consumer reliability survey. The study considers experiences of thousands of U.K. car owners and rates cars based on the severity of faults, their impact on the driving experience, and the time required for resolution.

We then cross-referenced the cars with Consumer Reports' ratings to ensure consistency with owners from different parts of the world.
lol

Must be because Tesla is at the bottom and BMW is on top, right?

Well Consumer reports see's it differently:

Based on 2026 Consumer Reports data, the Tesla Model Y is ranked as the most reliable new electric vehicle, with Tesla showing significant, matured improvements in overall brand reliability. While Tesla leads in specific top-tier rankings, other highly rated options for reliability and performance include the BMW i4 and Ford Mustang Mach-E.
