Surprisingly this powertrain tests well. Current truck owners liken it to a diesel electric powetrain, and those have high reliability percentages and are not repulsed by it like an ev. I do agree tho leave it to stellantis or ford to mess that up.

Looks like Dodge got it right. For those who use a truck for work and towing, it exploits the positives of electric motor and convenience of gas engine. Curiously... it was reported that Dodge isn't offering a fifth wheel/gooseneck option.

Powertrain makes a lot of sense for a truck. Curious about engine RPM as it relates to cab noise when charging while at a stoplight or driving slowly.
