i'll still look down at boxster owners as 'pshhhh guess you couldn't make the 911 happen' but even james may had one of these and yea they're like the perfect sports car... also still difficult to tell which end is the front or the back haha

I figured it out . Still a fun car as long as you keep her around 4k RPM
Manual and a good chassis is fun huh? Just keep the revs up on that engine as it needs it
Just kept it between 3500 and 4000 and torque is pretty instant. Handles beautifully, pretty high limits. I was surprised how quiet the engine is, even over 3000 rpm, at 70 mph I felt like we were only doing 30. Clutch was a bit on the harder side, but easy to get used to. Don't think I could daily drive this though, it needs open road to let it's hair down

Blasphemy 😁 🍿 🏃➡️
You will never hear me speak a harsh word about Porsche.
awesome car. one of two times i had a near death experience was in a boxster of around that year, not being driven by me. the owner was keen to show all its limits and he almost lost it on a curve and we did a 180 but somehow came to a stop without hitting any of many options.

car is like a miata on steroids.
This reminds me of the scene in True Lies when Ahnold is getting driven around by the carsalesman.

Polar opposite of a Miata - the engine is in the right spot. It'll be very frank about your driving skills (or lack thereof) if you try to be stupid with it. Real man's car(TM). NEVER LIFT.

Yep, exactly . When I hit the turn I pushed into it and she complied. Very competent car

So true!! lol
Was at a track with 16 turns and was talking to Miata driver about braking zones and he stated he only brakes on 2 of the 16 corners…the Miata driver was 14yrs old
Boxster is indeed tremendous, but there's a little bit of Miata disrespect going here and I am not having that. It's a fantastic car, for less than 20K you can get an NA/NB modified to Spec. One of my favorite memories was being driven around a very tight track in Spec and Cup Miatas by Cup series race drivers. These little cars humbled some genuine exotics.
