As if Alec Baldwin didn't already have enough on his plate with that loaded-gun incident and death during the movie-scene a couple of years ago, now he wrecked his Range Rover (which, believe me, is not a cheap vehicle), running it into a tree in the Hamptons, a luxury-resort near New York City. Fortunately, he seemed unhurt...today's vehicles, particularly expensive European vehicles like that, have a lot of safety-devices. I cannot tell for sure, but, from the looks of the video, the droopy-stare on his face, and the way he is shuffling/slow-walking after he got out, I think this may (?) be a DWI.

 

He's just claim his car accelerated on its own not his fault.

 

Well, Land-Rover products DO have a history of electrical-system defects, which could have affected the Throttle-by-Wire system, but, on the surface at least, it looks more to me like a bottle of Jack Daniels might helped those electrical-defects along some.


Seems like the more that celebrities pay for their vehicles, the quicker they wreck them. Just ask Lindsay Lohan, Tiger Woods, Gene Simmons, Bruce Jenner, and a bunch of others....even Elon Musk.

 

He's fine, he explained it a trash truck cut him off and he swerved to avoid it (its sitting there actually, the driver stopped). Accidents like this happen every minute of every day it just seems like they happen to celebrities all the time because thats the only time anybody cares.

 

Baldwin should buy a Tesla. FSD…safest car on the road. And the Tesla won’t shoot anyone

Hey maybe we can speculate some more with info not in the story. We don't know that some alien space ship didn't pull his car with a Tractor Beam into the tree--why aren't we exploring THAT?? Or maybe someone hacked his RR?

Alec is a trustworthy character no doubt especially going by his past actions.

 

Given that the trash truck is clearly sitting right there next to his car, I see no reason to doubt what he said. Plus...I don't really care.

In Paris Hilton's case, her (then) boyfriend gave her that first yellow Lexus LFA.....I'm not sure how she got the second, white one . And, yes, she apparantly drives a little more sensibly than some other celebrities.....at least more sensibly than she parties LOL.
