Default Shipping a car

Hey all, just wondering if anyone has experience and/or recommendations for getting a car shipped? I'm needing to get a car shipped from Northern California to Central Florida sometime in the next couple of months. So far I've reached out to Reliable Carriers and Intercity Lines. The quotes I received were in the $3000-3500 range (not too much higher than I was expecting). I do want an enclosed transport, especially with winter arriving and have heard too many brokerage horror stories to really want to go that route. Before I agree to one of these, I just wanted to see if there were any other solid options.

Mods: if this is the wrong place to post this please move it, I just didn't see a better sub-forum for this question.

i've used this company multiple times. like most they're just a broker that finds a fit for your needs and timing, but i've had 100% success with them.

I've used Reliable Carriers when I had my Viper because they were the official carriers for Vipers and they were great.

I have also used smaller enclosed transports and on two of them I had bad experiences. For one of my GTR's there was a decent sized dent on the rear fender and on an X7 I had shipped out to Colorado to a friend who bought it, it was in perfect condition and somehow got a big dent on the tailgate and chipped the corner of the driver's side door getting in/out of it most likely in the trailer. Neither mentioned any of the damage when they dropped the car off and only allowed a discount after being confronted about it.

On one of my recent shipments in a one car enclosed carrier I had a really good experience so it really all depends on the individual driver. Just make sure you document the exact condition of the car before it is shipped so you have proof if something goes wrong.

Thanks everyone for the input! Just an update, after getting quotes from all the major players listed I ended up going with Ship Your Car Now. The car arrived yesterday and appears to have have not sustained any damage from the trip.

Yes, it was a fully enclosed transporter at my request. It left Sacramento last Thursday (11/13) morning and was originally scheduled for delivery on Tuesday (11/19), but was delayed until Wednesday afternoon (11/20).

Thanks again for the suggestion and the info. I had a really good experience with them as well. The communication through the whole process was excellent and I'd use them again.
