Trying in vain to convert my wife to a Lexus. She seems attached to BMW. For what it is worth, I've liked both of our BMWs, but I just feel like the occasional software/phone issues and rattles are not worth it. I'd have her in an RX if I could convince her.

damn i'm sad now... i'm probably the one weirdo here who'd actually get more excited from seeing a 1st gen corolla or matrix XRS than an RCF lmao, i just love how "in the know" they are, and how the 9th gen corolla is such a particularly tall frumpy ungainly design but has that awesome 2ZZ (and only a manual) that makes these sounds
.to the OP, very nice stable. what's your uniquely favorite thing about each one?

I totally get it. I modded the cr*p out of it for 15+ years and enjoyed it every day. Had it setup for auto crossing so a lot of suspension, wheels, flywheel, clutch, tires etc. mods on it. Unfortunately, it started to fall out of favor once I had our first child. I first bought the RCF and then shortly moved the daily driving from the XRS to the first RX I got (RX400h). RCF became my project car. Still, it is a treat to wring out to 8200+ rpm especially once you hit lift at 6500 rpm (I had the 2003 Matrix XRS ECU at one point, which lowered it to something like 6100 rpm and I could stay in lift the whole time).
Thanks @DaveGS4 Much appreciated. That is exactly it.
@timmy0tool Thanks. 2ZZ-GE is an amazing engine and I tell you, the appreciation for it over the years has grown immensely. Back when I bought it in 2004 brand new, we were heavily overshadowed by the K20 engine where the common narrative was that 2ZZ-GE is more of a B18C5 competitor than a K20 competitor. As it turns out over the years, 2ZZ-GE has more than proved it was a well-deserved K20 engine despite being 0.2 Liter less in displacement. 2ZZ-GE cars tended to be much lighter than the K20 cars. My XRS was only 2650 lbs while an equivalent Civic SI with the K20Z3 engine, was a 2900+ lbs so that made it very competitive when I ran with the K20 Civic SI. I also personally think the 2ZZ-GE sounds more exciting and also the lift kick in the back is much harder than it is with VTEC in K20.
To your question about what is uniquely the favorite thing about each car? It is a tough question as they have lots of great qualities that separate each from the other.
After thinking hard, I would summarize it this way:
Lexus IS350 F-Sport - I realize it as the best do-everything car. Perfect size, perfect practicality and a very fun engine with a great sound particularly the growl from the intake. It is the most fun to commute in. I like the AVS in the IS350 F-Sport more than the AVS in the RX350 F-Sport as it is more predictable.
Lexus RX350 F-Sport - As expected, the utility aspect of it is the best part when driving with kids, wife, lots of cargo etc. While it is an SUV, unlike my previous RXs, this one feels very much like a car. It feels very engaging with the F-sport suspension and the steering tightens up a lot in SPORT+ or custom mode. Also, the fact that the same gem 3.5 Liter V6 I have in the 3IS, is here as well. It is one the reasons why I prefer the 4th gen over the 5th gen for the N/A 3.5 Liter V6. I would say, I like the interior the best in this RX out of all three. It has that snug cockpit like feel just like in the RCF and the 3IS and sits lower than my previous RX450h (2014), but has much more modern tech than the other two. 360 camera/drone view, HUD display, Panoramic sunroof, 12.3 inch display etc.
Lexus RCF - The best hooligan car out of the three. Obviously, the sound, response and high strung nature of the 2UR engine. Especially, with the few mods putting it around 510 - 515 HP, it is the beast out of the three. Whether doing spirited driving or doing a track day, that is where it is in its element. For daily driving, I would say IS350 F-Sport is the more fun car to be stuck in traffic or navigating through some crowded roads. The steering is a lot heavier/tighter in the RCF in SPORT+ mode and because of extra width, it is more stressful to maneuver in tight spaces. The suspension/chassis feels a lot stiffer as well (mine is the pre-AVS RCF) However, once you can get in the open on a smooth road, it really can scare a lot of people. :-)
p.s. Another anecdote, due to the high compression, all three seem to run a lot better on Octane 94 vs 91
