Notice one common theme among these models......they all date from the mid-to-late 2000s.....which is exactly the time period that I have said, many times, that cost-cutting in Lexus designs first became noticeable. I noticed a big difference between the 1990-2005 period and the generations that followed them. I owned a first-generation 2001 IS300...and the drop in build-solidness on the 2Gen version was also noticeable.
