Default What happened with Autoblog?

It appears they changed their format a week ago and the daily "news" is a fraction of what it was before. Unless I'm not navigating it right, I don't see any other spot on the site to view. Clicking on "NEWS" does not really add anything. I have used their site since the beginning for the latest, but I guess this is the end. Any other sites people use to see daily updates? TIA

it's done. Purchased, and inexplicably put out to pasture. Appears most of the content now is rehashed/syndicated.

That apparently was Hoovey2411 (now Hoovey689)'s favorite site. He used to post almost anything he could find on that site in Car Chat about new or redesign vehicles, and help keep us up to date.

Quite frankly I don't see what the individual appeal is of all these different car journalist sites when all they do is repeat the news and each other ad nauseum. Car and Driver, Motor Trend, and Consumer Reports all offer proper road tests and measurements appealing to their specific niches, what does Autoblog have to offer compared to your run of the mill YouTube car journalist?

My favorite site to read remains Driven to Write which can come across as extremely pretentiously British at times but offers great insight into topics far beyond the usual journalistic slop.

Their articles weren't the best but their layout was easy. Autoweek, Motortrend, Car&Driver, Road&Track aren't all that great with their layout either and Automotive News has a paywall.
