Yeah. I'm staggered, at least I never have to rotate.

Was the improvement worth the $1,500 cost? I mean...probably not but I'm a weirdo lol.
I mean better is better so good to hear!

Nothing wrong with it. He’s very particular where most aren’t.
I did it with my 460, can with a new set of MXM4 primacy's and they lasted 4 days before I couldn't take it anymore. Tire place thought I was insane and kept asking me if I was aware they were new

I think these look better too...

The original Hankooks:

Interesting that a $140,000 S class comes with Hankook tires. But the cheapest car in America, the Nissan Versa? Comes with Continental ContiProcontacts. A tire that Mercedes used to put on their sedans back in the early 2010s.

Haha! I actually wanted primacy MXM4s or MV4s, when I got my GS. But they aren't available in my size.Unlike you I probably would’ve enjoyed them.

No offense, but until you have kids yourself you’re not going to get it. Life with kids is very hectic, you eat in the car etc. The days of being able to keep your car pristine inside are over. Throw in a dog on top of that, and it is what it is. Kids are just not clean. They drop food, they track stuff in, they leave cups and drinks and stuff in the car. It’s one of the reasons why I don’t have a family vehicle like a GLS that I really care about. It gets washed once a week or once every other week and I spend an hour cleaning it up inside, and 2 days later it looks like that again…it just is what it is.

It’s the same way in a house, kids play they bring out toys etc.

I said all the same stuff before I had kids and I had no idea what I was talking about either.

Yeah I dunno. The Pacifica had Nexens too, the Pacifica was a big improvement when I put the Pirellis on it, the Nexens were loud. The Hankooks though were very quiet, not a bad tire at all for a run flat.

I have seen it play out in 8 families and it wasn't the case, I have no doubt I can accomplish the same result. If not then I can isolate them to a separate car entirely until they learn!and hopefully they don't end up as failures in general lol!

My coworker bought a brand new truck, loaded with every box ticked. He said he didn’t let his kids eat in his truck. They either ate inside of the restaurant or sat on the tailgate and had their dinner. His truck now is hovering close to 330k miles and the interior still looks immaculate.

I just recently let me kids eat a snack in my Rav as I have all weather mats and we have a portable vacuum we keep in the car. No food has ever been consumed in my track car. My wife lets the kids eat in the LX and I find crumbs everywhere but it does get vacuumed weekly.

Sometimes you have to give in especially on long roadtrips to keep the kids happy and the parents sane.

Unless you’re with those families all the time you’re not seeing the whole picture. It’s just kids being kids. Kids are not neat and tidy. Throw in an 80lb dog who sheds white fur in the front seat and your cars not staying clean.

As for isolating them, why do you think I have a minivan lol. When they get into my car though literally you drive 2 miles and it’s destroyed!

Yep, I remember never being allowing anything at all other than sealed water containers that I had to ask for if I wanted them.

They are my family lol! I see them a few times a year and the cars always are the same state, they just don't allow food in the cars

I'm thinking it's finally time to get rid of the Jeep and get something nicer, my only fear is the massively more expensive parts costs and AHC system needing a full overhaul. I really like these though, very nice feeling and the AHC system is IMO better than the land rover air setup

A few times a year is not being with them all the time. If you saw our van right after it had been cleaned you’d think it stayed clean too.

If they didn’t eat in the car they wouldn’t eat. They’re always on the go somewhere and there isn’t any other option but to eat in the car. Plus there’s travel, no choice but to eat in the car when traveling, can’t leave the dog in there alone.

You’ll see lol

I remember eating McDonald’s all the time in my mom’s Isuzu Rodeo. And cereal on the way to school with my mom speeding to try to get me there on time. That thing was pretty nasty at trade-in time! the interior was never properly cleaned.

My Dads and grandparents cars were always so clean and neat though. Because we almost never ate in those vehicles.
