I don't care about them being visible or not, and I'd rather not have another unnecessary mechanical piece to fail.
I thought the same till I had hiding screens, it's wonderful to not have to look at the black void when driving. The 460 and SUVs just look strange since I run with the screens off unless I need something
Always had a soft spot for the Explorer. Did many trips in them in my younger years. Each version seems to improve, as does this one. The horsepower, weight, and mpg ratios are pretty impressive for not being a hybrid. But shame of Ford for getting rid of the hybrid.
The ST and ST-Line are the ones to get here. And fun fact... I can't think of another current vehicle that displays the tach in numbers and decimals.
I would buy a Ford without hesitation...personally
Didn't you once have a 1Gen Taurus-based FWD Lincoln Continental....or was that your dad?
I personally like the two-door Bronco, Bronco Sport, Maverick, and Lincoln Corsair, but the ultra-cheap-plastic interiors that Ford Division uses (Lincoln's are far better) and the QC problems that Jill noted would give me some hesitation.
