For me I want a luxury car, I’m not going to drive a mainstream car no matter how nice it is. They’re also not exactly the same, the Escalade is going to have better dampeners, more sound isolation, better audio, better materials, better seats, better tech and displays etc.
Granted, for the extra money, the Caddy is going to have a somewhat better warranty and (usually) a more-posh dealership than GMC, but, other than that, there doesn't seem to be a whole lot of difference between an Escalade and a Yukon Denali. The Denali is a really posh trim-line, particularly on the Yukon.

There are significant differences which I have already outlined. Those things may not matter to you but the differences still exist.
