Agreed and the HR-V is kind of ridiculous because it replaced the CR-V which got too big and/or expensive for a segment of buyers.

Just added a 2024 Kona N-Line to the stable. I absolutely love it, and the tech (if you're into that kinda stuff) is leaps and bounds better than both the Lexus and Porsche.

I was pulling up to the light and thought, hey, those are some nice looking rims on that newish looking Honda".

From a distance they look shiny and legit.

But, at the light only sitting in the next lane over a few feet away I see this.

Had to give it a FAIL.

It’s not a good looking factory wheel but it’s not out of line either.

Saw this one today

Good looking truck but I don't know if I could live with the color

However, that's not my beef.
It's the side pipes. FAIL. Lol

Remember the early-generation Dodge Vipers, and their big exposed side-pipes? They were notorious for burning people's legs.

Side pipes are on the G63 AMG. So you're saying this is one case where you DON'T want the big V8?

I like the V8 but the cheesy chrome tips on the side pipes stick out past the running boards. Lol

The more I think about replacing my Civic with an IS500, the more excited I get about it. The one thing is, I think the ones with red guts have too much red. I don’t love the red on the underside of the dash and on the door panels. I need to see it in person. I loved the more subtle Rioja Red in my two F sport cars. I will have to see it in person to decide on the IS500 interior/exterior combo. Overall, it just seems like the right combination of luxury and performance for me.

I had the Circuit Red interior on my IS 350. Personally, I liked the brighter red more than Rioja, but also, I agree that maybe putting it on the lower door panels and dash was a bit much. Although, when you're sitting in the car, driving it, I think it'll be less noticeable. I have the black interior on my IS 500, which is a bit more boring but does have the silver contrast stitching, at least.

Let's see a pic of it if you feel like it so, we can judge. 🧐

You should do the IS500. Last call for a big naturally aspirated Toyota V8. Too bad no full time awd
