Model Y first day experience (from Reddit)
It wouldn't have been worth it to me to travel that far in such brutal weather in the first place, but at least it worked out in the end.
If a charger is compatible with your car, it doesn't necessarily mean you personally own the adaptor needed to use it. That is probably the disconnect. Once America consolidates on NACS it will be better for everyone.
Another valuable lesson is that the navigation doesn't extrapolate what I would call atypical conditions. If you travel at high speed your range will start to tick away faster than it's expecting, it starts to be very noticable around 85+. It won't really adapt to that either, so the remaining range when you arrive will slowly creep downward if you keep speeding. Same with weather.
