I have had only 1 incident with a Tesla driver but for most part they are usually in the right slow doing the speed limit on the highway....I am assuming to preserve range lol. Of lately I have seen more "speeding" not recklessly but actually accelerating fast. They seem like some of the better drivers to be honest.
Tesla drivers that have FSD have to sign and agreement to allow Tesla to monitor their driving. If you break traffic laws like run a red light or drive recklessly, you get a warning, and after two warnings they can lock you out of driving your car. I don't know how much they actually enforce this, but it's one of the reasons I've opted not to get FSD

Wow I had no idea they could lock you out from driving the car. Ban me from using FSD but to not let me drive the car I own?
I've heard it's very sensitive too. Personally I would never plug in one of those devices for lower insurance rates.

Uh yeah, that's way too Skynet for me. Not that I condone that kind of driving. I would also skip the self driving. You have a car that you paid big bucks for that's a tattle tale on you.
I'll ask him again. It was for FSD, not Enhanced Autopilot. He was considering getting the subscription
Just to clear up my poor wording choice. I meant they couldn't keep someone from driving themselves. That would need a court order, like those breath analyzer devices they put in drunk driver vehicles.
As far as FSD and EA, they will disable them if you ignore their warnings enough. I will find out what's required in a few months when I subscribe for a trip we'll be taking.

This is what my brother in law told me: if you break traffic laws a certain amount of times ignoring the warning, the car will pull itself over and lock you from driving it for 24 hours. I haven't verified this, I'm just going by what he told me. It's why he said he decided against an FSD subscription.
If it's otherwise, let us know and I'll ask if he's sure that's what he read in the agreement they were asking him to accept

Yeah not buying that the company that sells both a sedan and an SUV with marketing materials stating "Maintain 1,000+ horsepower all the way to 200 mph..." is going to brick them if you disobey traffic laws.
